Slow Flow brings together the practices of flow yoga, somatics and yin. Class is a deep slow flow to beautiful music, where we take time to listen, feel and be with full awareness of movement, breath and pause. Wonderful for unraveling stress and tension, whilst also exploring some of the deeper underlying philosophies of Yoga. Elena guides somatically - an approach that gives more space to welcome you at whichever level you're at.

You can expect a restorative feel to this practice; lingering longer in holds, before settling into yin postures, and ending with a mini soundbath to allow the nervous system to fully integrate. Elena often introduces mantra, mudra and bits of wisdom gathered from over a decade of teaching.

A soothing journey into rest and renewal.

This Thursday evening class is a quiet wind-down at the end of your day. We begin with long-held, supported Yin poses, guided by seasonal wisdom and grounded in the breath. Drawing from the Five Element model of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the Meridian system, each shape is an invitation to release and soften into deep tissue stretches.

We then drift seamlessly into Yoga Nidra, a form of deep guided meditation that aims at carrying you into the liminal space between wakefulness and sleep. In this deeply restorative state, the body is encouraged into rest-and-digest mode, supporting stress recovery, relaxation and better sleep.

Perfect for anyone feeling stressed, overwhelmed and depleted, this is a space to arrive exactly as you are.

All equipment is provided at the studio but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Loose clothing that you feel comfortable in is best, and when the weather is chillier, bring extra layers to make sure you stay cosy during the whole practice.

Studio 16 | All levels Welcome

Pilates helps to build intrinsic stable strength. Hannah works with everything from rehab and injury recovery to pre- and post-natal training, sport-specific strength, and helping people grow confidence with strength training.

She has so much deep respect for the Classical Pilates principles and bases her classes around this, with some creative twists and dynamic flows which are energising but also deeply grounding.

Pilates is not only a nice opportunity to build stability and strength but also a chance to come back to our bodies and move in a way that brings us into that ‘rest and digest’ state. With breath work and some flowy movements, her classes are like a whole body refresh. Expect to leave feeling strong, connected and supported.

A playful, creative and uplifting end-of-week practice.

This energising mandala flow class is playful, strong and fluid, with room for embodiment and exploration. We move 360 degrees around the mat in creative sequences that weave together strength, breath and freedom of movement to shake off the week and recharge.

Vittoria’s classes blend yoga tradition and modern understanding of the body and nervous system, encouraging you to move and breathe in ways that feel good for you, while exploring new transitions and perspectives. Her teaching balances challenge with a nurturing approach, helping students build confidence and body/breath awareness.

Inspired by the elements, seasons, and yoga philosophy, each week will explore different themes but always include a strong but steady flow, pranayama and space for meditation and reflection. Great for anyone who’s been desk-bound all week, or wants to step into the weekend feeling equally energised and grounded.

All equipment is provided at the studio but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Sunday

  • All Levels Welcome

Ailsa will guide you through a Mandala Vinyasa Flow and Yoga Nidra sequence. The epitome of from yang to yin, each class will begin with a Mandala sequence, which involves moving around the yoga mat in all directions, and close with an extended relaxation of Yoga Nidra. Flowing, smooth and constant movement synchronised with the breath as well as the creative, playful and flowing Mandala sequence combine to create an uplifting and energising style of class. Immerse yourself in this moving meditation to stretch and strengthen the body, calm the mind and reduce stress. Each class will explore one of the five elements from the yoga tradition. Each element is linked to a different area of the body, a different Chakra and a different aspect of your life. The Vinyasa Flow portion is designed to clear the mind, release tension and create space for you to land back in your body, preparing you to enjoy the restful stillness of Yoga Nidra. The rejuvenating, restorative and grounding practice of Yoga Nidra comprises the final portion of the class. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation practised lying down and guides you between sleep and wakefulness. This state is profoundly nourishing and restorative and helps you to guide your body into the rest and digest nervous system response. Ailsa’s classes are for all levels and suitable for everyone from beginners to those more experienced at practising yoga. Ailsa gives a number of options in more challenging poses to accommodate all levels. Overall, Ailsa’s yoga classes are a deeply relaxing, meditative and physically rewarding experience.
